The contractors have been here for a week working on the basement.
They installed a bigger window to let more light in.
They are also finishing up framing, rebuilding the stairs, and knocking down a wall in the dining room.
We've been working upstairs on baby brother's room.
We still need to move the crib over from Addy's room and purchase a dresser but things are moving right along...

Only 8 weeks?!!! Holy Moly time has flown. What progress in every aspect of your life....your basement, the babies room, AND growing a baby!!!!
That's what I was thinking too... forget the basement (it is great and all) but 8 weeks?? Did you press fast forward on your pregnancy?
WOW, 8 weeks! That seems like it came fast. Can't wait to snuggle that little 8 week old baby in December, while I make a batch of muddie buddies in a garbage sack. Miss you friend!
The baby room is adorable. Can't wait to see it when we come back. LOVE the rug.

Owen pointed to the pic of baby boy's room and said "I wanna go in it." I think that means baby will love it!
