Weekend in Seattle

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating and getting caught up with all of our favorite people. When you live far away from your friends it is always fun to attend events that allow you to see as many people as possible. We both maximized our time with friends this weekend!

Saturday night we attended Kyle and Kelsey's gorgeous wedding. We were both happy to connect with some college friends that we had not seen in a long time.

Matt and I enjoying the yummy dinner... we loved the mashed potato bar with all the toppings.

Sunday morning, the girls all went to breakfast at Oddfellows to celebrate Jamie's birthday. We had our own private patio seating where we could really chat and get caught up!

The wonderful day ended with an afternoon with my sister Leslie, her husband Mike, and baby Caroline. It was so fun to see how she is growing... holding her head up, smiling, and becoming more interactive.
Such a fun weekend...we're so lucky to have great friends & family.

Easter

We had a great day celebrating with our wonderful families. Matt made delicious spiral cut ham and twice baked potatoes. Everyone else brought yummy sides, salads, and desserts. Unfortunately, it rained so we had to do the Easter Egg hunt in the basement but I think fun was still had by all.

We hope you all had a great Easter!
We missed you Mike, Les, and Caroline. We look forward to seeing you next weekend.

Loving this weather!

We had a perfect evening!
Matt barbecued while Addy and I played on a blanket in the grass.
The weather was warm enough for us all to eat outside on the deck.
One more nice day before the rain sets in... we hope you enjoy it!

A week with the kids!

This week has gone by really fast...
maybe because it has been so busy.
Here are a few pics to catch you up on what we have been doing.
I must say, we have all gotten pretty used to having the extra kids around and we are going to be sad when they have to go home... especially Addy.

I got pretty good at feeding two babies at once.
Walks pushing the double jogger stroller.Bath time is always more fun with a friend.
Story time!

I never had more than four kids at a time. Megan stayed with Grandma the first half of the week and then Ellie got to go to Grandma's house and Meggie came home. Four was plenty!
We had a great week! Now I am going to start planning my vacation!
