Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a fun filled weekend with friends and family.
It was a nice kick off to summer!

On Friday, we camped out at my sister's house in Cathlamet. We all sat around the bonfire, ate hot dogs, enjoyed ULTIMATE s'mores (peanut butter cups instead of regular chocolate), and slept in tents. It was a little cold but it was fun to cuddle outside under the stars.

On Saturday our friend Jamie came to see us from Seattle!
It was so fun to spend some quality time with each other and get all caught up on each other's lives! Thanks for making the trip down to Longview. We loved spending time with you.

Finally on Monday, Katie and Erik invited us over for a BBQ.
They made sliders (mini-burgers) which are so fun to dip and eat. Thanks guys!
Cheers to summer and nice weather! We hope it is here to stay.

Backyard Fun!

We had quite the productive weekend! We worked outside most of Saturday and Sunday. The weather was beautiful and it was nice to get some summer projects crossed off our list.
Matt finished his patio/walkway in front of the addition.

I planted flowers in pots and the window-boxes.

We went to the Farmer's Market and got our tomatoes, basil, and cilantro in the ground.
We can't wait for salsa and bruschetta! BBQ and corn on the cob!

And no hot day is complete without a popsicle!

Let's hope this nice weather continues because we have lots more work to do in our yard.

I had to show off that Addy's hair is finally long enough to put into little bitty rubber bands.

It is crazy how fast babies change into little girls.

We had the most amazing weekend in Chelan celebrating our fabulous friend Cabe. We had warm sunshine, tasty food, view of the lake, 12 wonderful friends, long soaks in the hot tub, and lots of local wine!

Laura surprised Cabe with a visit from California and Ailie came all the way from Atlanta!

It was Megan's 5th birthday yesterday.

After the party, Steph and I had to go to Vancouver for our soccer game. The girls came with us and we stopped at Build -A -Bear so Ellie and Megan could make a stuffed animal. We were a little short on time so we had to run through the mall.
The girls learned an important lesson...
it's not fun unless it's frantic.

New Swimming Pics

We actually had both Parker and Addy at swimming this week, luckily my wonderful mother-in-law came to help too. I don't think I could have handled two babies in the pool.
