We have been working on the baby sign language for a few months. Just the basics like more, drink, milk, please, all done, and so on. If she happens to do one of the signs we label it so she starts to understand that when she makes certain motions it means something. Well, I think she is finally understanding the correlation. She knows when she claps her fists together she gets MORE food.

For the first time in 10 months, Addy slept through the night. Thanks for letting me get a full night of sleep on my birthday. What a gift!

It's Birthday Week!

My sister Stephanie, niece Ellie, and I all have birthdays in the same week. Steph's is on the 8th, Ellie's on the 10th, and mine on the 12th. Tonight we just had one big celebration for all our birthdays. My other niece Megan was a little jealous, she wants to trade her birthday so she could celebrate with us:) Happy birthday girls!

Caroline Update!

The good news is Baby Caroline is out of the hospital. She got to come home on New Years Eve. She did have to go back again on the 2nd. She was so low in iron that she had to have a blood transfusion. She is finally home but still has her feeding tube and it taking the majority of her nutrition through the tube. She is gaining weight but still needs prayers for continued good health and more efficient eating.
We can't wait for you to get better Caroline!

Favorite Christmas Gifts 2008!

Just in case you did not get what you wanted this year or you are in the mood to treat yourself... I have some recommendations! #1 pair of Ugg slippers. I have not taken these puppies off my feet since I brought them home. They are so heavenly! We keep our house pretty cool so there is nothing better than coming home from work and slipping my feet into the soft sheep skin. I LOVE them! Matt was a bit of a skeptic at first but I think I almost have him convinced he needs his own pair. #2 I am in the process of getting the new IPOD touch... just waiting for the shipment to come in and then I will exchange the I POD I got for Christmas. I can't wait to play with all its new features. #3 Bobbi Brown lip and eye pallet I love the soft pretty colors for both eyes and lips. #4 Soft Fleece Robe so comfy and warm. I love slipping it on after my shower. Thanks so much for all my fantastic gifts! I am such a lucky girl.

Missing Camera!

Sorry for the lack of posts but I still cannot find my camera! I hate to post things without a picture. It has been missing since Christmas Eve! I sure hope it did not get swooped up with all the paper and boxes and get carried out to recycle. I will keep looking for it until my birthday (Monday) and if I still can't find it I am going to buy myself and a little birthday gift. I will keep you updated.
